She turned 42 years old on Thursday.

Yet Naomie Harris looked half her age as she headed out to celebrate her birthday at Bagatelle Mayfair with her nearest and dearest.

Dressed to impress for her big day, the stunning Rampage actress ensured she would have all eyes on her as she donned a glittering gold mini dress.

Featuring a plunging neckline, the dazzling dress was adorned with hundreds of gold sequins that shimmered under the bright lights.

The garment grazed her toned thighs to offer a look at her enviably lean legs, which were elongated with a pair of barely-there gold heels.

Naomie finished off the look with a slick of glossy red lipstick, whilst her raven locks were styled in a sleek centre parting.

Naomi's appearance shortly follows the movie star dishing out praise for the positive change in attitude towards race and gender in films during Lorraine.

The Bond star suggested it was all about 'character qualities' in film nowadays, and that she is delighted filmmakers have started to take on 'colourblind casting'.

She said of the industry's progression: 'There are more opportunities now. A lot of time it’s colourblind casting... what you want from a character is their qualities.

'It doesn’t matter what race or gender they are. A lot of roles are written for men and are then changed for females. It’s a lot more of an open environment, which I'm loving.'

Her enthusiasm for the industry change stemmed from her acclaimed performance in 2016's Moonlight, where she played a crack addict.

Naomie previously admitted she was reluctant to take on the role as she didn't want to portray negative images of black women.

Yet following the Oscar-winning movie's success, she reasoned: 'After I finished Moonlight, it was a fantastic time in my career. But I suddenly started getting all these offers which were basically to play a character like Paula again. I didn’t want to be typecast.'
